I quit Going to Church

Dear church,

I have talked to so many of you who are preparing to leave town in the next couple of days for your spring break destination: Branson, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii,Mexico, Guatemala, etc. As you go please remember that “church” is not primarily something we “attend” – it’s who we are!

“But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him. For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.”

2 Cor. 2:14-15

If you’re traveling, have fun and be safe – but, most of all, BE the church.

And know that there are a few of us who will remain behind and guard the fort until you return. J
